Dance/ cheer background
I cheered and danced competitively for the Atlanta Jayhawks in high school where we won a couple of National Championships. I was a cheer instructor for UCA for 7 years, where I was named Georgia Veteran of the Year twice. I have coached my high school cheerleaders for 4 years where we have placed in the top 10 at State 3 out of the 4 years. I also cheer for the Atlanta Falcons. |

Biggest role model
My parents are my role models. They have raised me to be a responsible adult who strives to make good decisions in education, career and relationships. The strong family values that they have instilled allow me to believe that I will one day be an excellent wife and mother. They are always there for me, and I look up to them more than they will ever know.
Historical person I'd like to have dinner with
I would like to have dinner with my grandfather who passed away before I was born. My mom has told me amazing things about him, and I think it would have been fun to sit down and share a Coca-Cola Classic (his favorite drink) with him. I have unusual thumbs, and I’m told they look just like his….I’m curious to see if my family is right.
One interesting fact my teammates don't know about me
When I was in gymnastics our team went to AAU Nationals in New Orleans, and at the last minute our team decided to register for the AAU Nationals Team Fitness/Aerobics Competition….and we won! We used a Janet Jackson routine that we all knew and added some push-ups, kicks and other fitness moves, and the judges loved us!
My goals and aspirations
I would like to continue developing as an influential teacher and perhaps earn my doctorate in education. I also look forward to one day becoming a wife and a mother.
